How it's calculated

D = √(4F ÷ (π × P × η))

Standard bores follow ISO 3320: 25, 32, 40, 50, 63, 80, 100, 125, 160, 200 mm and so on. For pneumatic cylinders, size with a margin, since usable force at speed is often only half the static figure.
